Lyon County Commissioners will review items for two departments as part of their regular action meeting Thursday.
The first will come from Noxious Weed Department Director Amy Welch, who will present information on new noxious weeds approved by the Kansas Department of Agriculture. Tobey Kelly of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office will then present an invoice from Traffic Control Services Inc. to upfit a 2025 Chevy Silverado to replace a “wrecked truck” for just over $19,800.
Kelly will also submit a separate request from Traffic Control for upfitting a 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 for a total of just over $13,700. Commission and staff reports are also planned, with the meeting beginning at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
