Northbound drivers on Interstate 35 east of Emporia had to divert off the highway near Neosho Rapids for several hours after a wreck in Coffey County.
The wreck involved a semi layover, blocking both northbound lanes around 4 am. Other crash details are pending.
The incident happened around 4 am. Northbound traffic was fully blocked for close to 5 hours before one lane of traffic reopened.
