The Centennial League announced its 2026 All-League softball honors Monday, with Emporia High senior Alivia Barrett representing the Lady Spartans as a Second Team selection.
Barrett capped off an outstanding final season in an Emporia High uniform by earning one of the league’s top postseason honors. She was asked to lead the pitching staff and contributed in the batter’s box
Emporia High also placed six players on the Honorable Mention list, the largest contingent in the league. Freshman Delaney Davis and Oaklie Dawson were recognized alongside seniors Yzabel Ultreras, Molly Williams and Marley Sewell.
The postseason recognition comes after a season in which the Lady Spartans finished with a 12-15 overall record and a 2-8 mark in Centennial League play.
League-wide honors included Washburn Rural junior Olivia Koch being named Player of the Year. Manhattan freshman Azzie Foveaux earned Newcomer of the Year honors, while Topeka High’s Shane Miles was selected as Coach of the Year.
