Colby Deaver picked up two more national awards and is now the consensus NCAA DII Pitcher of the Year for 2026. Deaver had previously picked up the honor from the NCBWA and D2CCA. He’s now earned the honor from the NCAA and D2 Baseball. Deaver was the best in the country in 2026 with a 1.50 ERA, a 0.82 WHIP, and an 8.5 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He posted an 11-2 record with 102 strikeouts in 96 innings and didn’t surrender more than three earned runs in a start all season. He started the season with 34.1 scoreless innings and tossed a complete game in the first round of the MIAA Tournament, his 10th quality start of the season.
