Emporia State sophomore pitcher Colby Deaver has picked up another national Pitcher of the Year award. Already a consensus winner from the D2CCA, D2Baseball, the NCAA, and the NCBWA, Deaver has now also been honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings as its Division II Pitcher of the Year. Deaver led the country in ERA and WHIP in 2026 and finished 11-2 on the mound with 102 strikeouts. He finished with 10 quality starts and had eight starts with at least eight strikeouts and six starts without surrendering a walk.
