Kansas WorkforceOne has set up a job fair next week.
The latest Emporia Forward Job Fair will be from 11:30 am to 2 pm Thursday at the Bowyer Community Building. Veterans and Michelin employees will receive early access beginning at 11 am.
Job seekers can look at local and regional careers and meet directly with hiring professionals. Registration is not needed. Spanish interpretation and language help will be available through Kansas Spanish Speakers.
Job seekers are asked to bring several copies of their resumes, and the Kansas WorkforceOne Mobile Workforce Center will be at the event so people can make last-minute adjustments to their resumes, print resumes and complete online applications.
Digital Communications Coordinator Nadia Qureshi will have a preview on KVOE’s Newsmaker segment at 7:20 am Wednesday.
