The Flint Hills Digital Campus proposal and local business retention will be the main focal points for members of the Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas Board of Directors when they convene later this week.
The RDA Board will convene for its monthly meeting Friday morning with an update on the digital campus from Emporia City Manager Trey Cocking near the bottom of the agenda. Ahead of that update will be a report from Interim RDA Vice-President Brad Kraft on recent engagement with local businesses, a responsibility that has fallen to Kraft almost since the onset of his appointment as interim VP earlier this year.
The regular chairman and president’s reports, as well as an executive session is also planned for the meeting that begins at 7 am inside the Trusler Business Center.
