There are still some signs of Saturday’s windstorm that caused isolated damage in Hartford.
Scattered tree damage remains across the town. Mayor Kenny Hamman says residents who can’t get their tree debris to the city’s burn pile can place it at their curbs and the city will remove the items at its convenience.
A status report is pending for roof repairs at City Hall. The roof was partially rolled up due to the July 4 storm activity, which included estimated wind gusts of 6-70 mph in Hartford. Related information from the city’s insurance adjustor is also pending.
