Before they appear on KVOE’s Candidate Forum program next week, the 3 Republican candidates for Kansas House 76th District will meet in downtown Emporia.
Art Freund, Russel Stukey and Mark Weiser will meet the public as part of the Lyon County Republicans precinct meeting Thursday. The meeting will be at the Lyon County Courthouse Annex, 402 Commercial, starting at 6:30 pm.
The candidates are looking to follow Brad Barrett, who decided against running for a second term in office.
David Claridge is the Democrat running for the position.
