Criminal court proceedings continue for three men accused of theft, conspiracy and other counts in Morris County.
Ulric Samspon of Topeka, Raul Hernandez of Leavenworth and Randy Fetters Jr of Dwight were charged after the Morris County Sheriff’s Office received information about a possible stolen vehicle a month ago. The investigation indicated a two stolen pickups, one from Morris County and one from Shawnee County. Deputies then served a search warrant at 612 Cypress in Dwight, where they say the found a stolen car, flatbed trailer and motorcycle — along with small amounts of cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine. An unspecified firearm, drug paraphernalia items and other unspecified allegedly stolen property items were also recovered.
All three men are charged with single counts of possession of stolen property and conspiracy to that end. Fetters, meanwhile, has been charged with distributing up to 450 grams of marijuana and up to 100 grams of meth. Fetters is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of paraphernalia.
Sampson has a preliminary hearing Aug 6. Hernandez has a prelim Aug 12. Fetters has prelims Aug 27 in both cases.
