Evergy is the latest company to get connected to Flint Hills Technical College’s Advancing Tomorrow capital campaign.
FHTC has announced a “transformative investment” to support both the development and launch of the Advanced Industry Education Center through state-of-the-art equipment, resources and student support mechanisms. The dollar amount hasn’t been announced. The goal is to continue making sure the college trains students for the state’s technical workforce demands.
Once built, the Education Center will house programs like advanced manufacturing, industrial engineering, automation and robotics.
