Emporia High soccer will have the opportunity to play on a professional stage this fall.
The Spartans have been selected to participate in the MKSN Boys High School Soccer Showcase at Riverside Stadium, the home of KC Current II, in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Black and Red will face Republic (Missouri) at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 10 in the fourth match of the day. The Spartans are one of 16 schools chosen to compete in the event.
EHS is coming off a successful 2025 campaign in which they finished 10-6-1 and will look to build on that success this fall. They open at Chanute on September 1.
