After an 8-1 campaign, Lyndon football enters the 2026 season facing a new challenge. Third-year head coach Michael Massey must replace a talented senior class that included several all-district and state-recognized players. The Tigers also suffered a major setback when returning standout Josh Vignery tore his ACL in March.
With just two seniors and around 20 players on the roster, Lyndon will lean on a young, inexperienced group. Junior Cameron Weston takes over at quarterback after leading the JV squad, while senior Carson Horne steps in at running back. Junior Joe Biggs returns as a key contributor at tight end and defensive end, with Lyric Medina expected to make an impact at receiver and linebacker.
The Tigers return only two players with significant Friday night experience, making this a season of growth as young talent looks to emerge. Lyndon opens the 2026 campaign on the road, traveling to Troy on September 4.
