Two Lyon County roads that were closed for planned work — and then closed for unplanned work — have reopened.
The Lyon County Highway Department has reopened Road 150 from Kansas Highway 99 to Road J, along with J from 150 to 160.
Both were initially closed this month for a few days each as part of a reclamation project, only to close again Saturday after what the Highway Department called “deteriorating road conditions.” Moderate to heavy rain fell across the area Saturday morning.
