Traffic has been advised to stay away from an east Emporia intersection after a semi incident Thursday.
Just before 12:30 pm, a semi apparently hit an internet line near 7th and Whittier, pulling it out of position and pulling a nearby power pole out of the ground.
No injuries have been reported. An investigation continues through Emporia Police.
Evergy has not said whether it will need to replace the pole.
