Construction will be coming in Burlington a part of a bid approved by the Kansas Department of Transportation earlier this summer.
KDOT has approved a half-mile set of pedestrian and bike paths for the 300 block of 6th Street over Rock Creek, or between Hudson and Juniatta Streets.
Dondlinger & Sons Construction of Wichita won the project with a better than $590,000 bid.
Separately, various locations in Greenwood County will see milling work as part of a better than $26,000 contract involving projects in 10 other counties. Dustrol of Towanda won the bid.
