Lyon County Commissioners have their regular action meeting Thursday morning.
The agenda will include consideration of a proclamation submitted by Flint Hills Technical College recognizing National Adult Education Week from September 13th through 19th. Human Resources Director Alicia Rumold will also seek approval of a “Chief Elected Official Board Agreement” between the county and Local Workforce Development Area 1 previously known as KansasWorks.
Lyon County Engineer Wayne Scritchfield will present the regular Highway Department update and will seek approval to pay Kip Kubin of Shelter Belt LLC. $2,000 due to damages with a temporary easement to be paid for out of the county’s Right of Way Damage fund.
Commissioners also have three executive sessions: one for exchange of confidential third-party data, one for non-elected personnel matters and one for attorney-client privilege. The meeting will begin at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
