After pavement work on part of Road 170 east of Emporia on Tuesday, more work on Road 170 is ahead Wednesday.
The Lyon County Highway Department has bridge repair work scheduled between Roads W and X, so thru traffic will be closed during the project. There is no word on how long this work zone will be in effect.
Road 170 was closed between U and X on Tuesday.
