Marais des Cygnes Valley outside hitter Emily Criqui was named the North Central Kansas Female Athlete of the Week from KSHSAA on Wednesday.
The junior surpassed 1000 career digs and kills in the opening weeks of the season. In nine matches this fall, Criqui has recorded 139 kills, 99 digs and 19 aces.
MdCV is currently ranked sixth in the 1A Division 2 KVA rankings with a 6-3 record. The Trojans travel to St Paul on Thursday.
