The Emporia State cross country teams ran in the middle of the pack at the Ollie Isom Invitational on Friday morning in El Dorado, Kan. Brett Jacobson led the Lady Hornets placing in 19th. Bryce Roberts was the top Hornet runner finishing in 17th place. Fort Hays State swept the men’s and women’s team titles. ESU is off next week and returns to action at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo. on September 25.
