Several Lyon County fire departments responded to a reported structure fire in far east Lyon County on Wednesday.
Lyon County Rural, Hartford-Neosho Rapids, Miller and Reading crews were first dispatched to Roads 180 and Y, getting adjusted to a farmstead near 175 and Y as more information came in. Early indications had smoke possibly coming from a barn on the property, but it now appears the smoke was from a burn barrel near a structure.
Other details are currently pending. Lyon County deputies also responded to the scene.
