Nothing sets the senses tingling like a paranormal investigation. And nothing quite adds a layer of nerves to that activity quite like a heavy thunderstorm.
That’s what attendees of Flint Hills Paranormal’s Spooktember had to handle as they toured the old Admire Elementary School.
A sellout contingent observed the paranormal investigation group go through its procedures Saturday night. Spokesperson Brandy Clarke says people are drawn to these public investigations for different reasons.
Clarke says investigators take different approaches towards getting ready for their work.
Clarke says contact with the paranormal is a unique experience.
On the flip side, Clarke says there will always be skeptics and detractors.
Now that Spooktember is done, Flint Hills Paranormal is getting ready for its 10th anniversary celebration, “A Decade in the Dark,” which will be at the Lyon County History Center on October 3. Before that, representatives will be on the Within the Cauldron and Behind the Witches’ Veil podcast at 6 pm Oct. 2.
