The Emporia High girls tennis team competed in a competitive field Tuesday at the Kossover Family Center in Topeka.
Alexa Tovar and Chelsea Mendez posted a 3-2 record and finished 11th in number 1 doubles.
Berkeley Goss and Jaden Werly also put together a solid performance, going 2-3 and finishing ninth in number 2 doubles.
Izabella Hinst finished the day with a 1-4 record at number 1 singles, while Landen Werly went 2-3 in number 2 singles.
The Lady Spartans will return to action Thursday when EHS travels to Andover.
