Emporia’s latest incubator business is almost ready to officially open to the public.
Juniper & Sage will have a grand opening celebration at 4 pm October 7 at 729 Commercial. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, deals and product samples.
Juniper & Sage features refillable household goods, herbs and natural wellness items aimed at helping to reduce waste by allowing residents to refill and reuse containers for products. It is the third incubator business through ongoing work by Emporia Main Street, following Trox Gallery & Gifts and Emporia Imaginarium.
Main Street’s incubator program offers businesses six months of free rent, six months of below-market rent and six months of “scaled-up” rent as businesses find their own space.
