Front Porch Jams will host four performers Saturday, benefiting the Olpe Fitness Park.
FPJ founder Jeanna Scheve and this month’s host, Diana Kuhlmann joined the KVOE Primetime Newsmaker Thursday morning to talk about what’s coming up at the Jam Saturday night.
Kuhlmann shares what this cause means to her and why she took the step of hosting this month.
Scheve says the featured artists have had an impact in their community and music in general.
The Jam will be held at the Kuhlmann residence located at 815 Road J5 in Olpe at 7pm. Entry is by donation. All donations from the event will go towards the current renovation of the Olpe Fitness Park, which is currently in phase 2.
There will also be a bonus jam held Sunday, October 4th from 1-3pm benefiting Jackson Markowitz. Jackson’s Jam will feature opener Linden Stueve. Headlining will be Half Grass, which is a local bluegrass band.
