Emporia Fire and 2 other Lyon County fire departments called out to a reported structure fire in east Emporia, but the incident appears to be limited in scope.
Firefighters from Emporia were toned out to Laundry Land, 622 East 6th, shortly before 5:50 am. Americus and Olpe were also dispatched as automatic aid but were canceled before arriving on scene. All departments were cleared from the scene around 6:05 am.
Early indications are issues with one washing machine. Other details are currently pending.
