The Madison Bulldogs used a strong rushing attack Friday night to defeat Sedan 42-20 in Madison.
Cooper Luthi led the Bulldogs with four rushing touchdowns, carrying the ball 21 times for 98 yards. Luthi scored on touchdown runs of 1, 4, 19 and 17 yards. He also completed 3 passes for 60 yards.
Mason McDonald added 102 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns. McDonald found the end zone on runs of 22 and 26 yards.
Luthi credited extra practice reps of blocking with helping the team get ready.
Head coach Nathan Teichgraeber applauded his guys for winning the keys to the game.
With the victory, Madison improves to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in district play.
