Sealing work is ahead in southern Wabaunsee County after bid approval by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
KDOT has approved a 10-mile work zone on Kansas Highway 31 from the intersection with K-99 east to the Wabaunsee-Osage county line, including the stretch of K-31 immediately south of Harveyville.
Vance Brothers LLC of Kansas City, Missouri, won the contract with a bid of over $620,000. A construction timetable has not been announced.
