The Emporia Recreation Commission will be convening outside of its normal schedule this week.
The ERC will meet Tuesday via Zoom to discuss the turf replacement project at Soden’s Grove. The only item will be the potential approval of a bid from one of two companies, either Mid America or Field Turf, which, along with ATG, submitted bids for the project last month.
The ERC reviewed the initial proposals during their monthly meeting in September and tabled the matter until Tuesday. The meeting will begin at noon.
