We believe in supporting our technicians with a shop culture and environment where you can focus on quality. We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, and replacing body damage on all vehicle makes and models to meet our high standards of safety and aesthetic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Body & Panel Repair: Repair and replace body panels, perform welding, and align structural components on all vehicle makes and models.
- Access & De-Trim: Safely remove upholstery, accessories, trim, and electrical/hydraulic window operating equipment to gain proper access to repair areas.
- Surface Prep & Finish: File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools to prepare vehicles and parts for the paint department.
- Re-assembly: Re-assemble vehicles and trim components meticulously after painting is complete.
- Quality Standards: Perform reliable, high-quality collision repairs following established vehicle repair processes and OEM guidelines.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in an auto body repair shop.
- Certifications: I-CAR and/or ASE certifications are highly valued (a major plus).
- License: Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of automotive structure, panel repair, and welding processes.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (negotiable based on hands-on experience).
- Work-Life Balance: Monday through Friday 8-5 no weekends.
