Osage City’s Lillian Lohmeyer is heading to the 321A State Golf Meet after a gritty performance Monday at Spring Creek Golf Course in Seneca.
Lohmeyer secured the final individual state-qualifying slot by finishing tied for 12th place, shooting 28-over-par through a competitive round. Her strong play helped lead the Lady Indians to a fifth-place team finish overall.
Lohmeyer advances to compete at the state tournament next week, hosted at Tallgrass Golf Club in Wichita.
