A semi wreck in northwest Lyon County was toned out at a reported injury crash but led to no hospital trips.
The crash happened near US Highway 56 and Road C around 11:30 pm. Lyon County Deputy Curtis Morse says deputies found a semi pulling a hopper bottom grain trailer in a ditch off US-56. The driver, 19-year-old Avery Gee of Marysville, says he was driving eastbound when a deer came on to the highway. Gee tried to slow down the truck, but it and the trailer left the highway onto the shoulder. Gee then tried to get the truck and trailer back onto the highway, but it rolled an unknown number of times off the road instead and came to rest about 40 feet off the highway.
Gee was treated for suspected minor injuries at the scene and declined further treatment. He was wearing his seatbelt.
