A juvenile was apparently unharmed after a vehicle collided with a pole near Allen late Tuesday morning.
According to Lyon County Deputy Riley Jones, the accident occurred at approximately 11:30 am in the 3300 block of Road L. Upon arrival, deputies found a 2007 Honda Accord facing south in the west ditch and a pole across the roadway.
According to the driver, an unnamed 16-year-old female, she was traveling southbound when the vehicle went off the shoulder to the west. In an attempt to get back on the road, the driver overcorrected and entered the west ditch, striking the telephone pole.
The driver was examined and cleared at the scene and declined transportation to the hospital. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the collision.
