Emporia high unified bowling finished in two of the top three spots Thursday at Flint Hills Lanes in Emporia.
The Emporia Red Team earned gold for a second straight meet with a score of 739. Iola 1 slid into second, followed by Emporia Black in third with a score of 611.
Head coach Andy Battenfeld was impressed with how the Emporia Black team performed and is looking at ways for the team to get better.
On Senior Night, Hayden Williams was named Bowler of the Match.
The Spartans return to action Wednesday in Lawrence at Royal Crest Lanes.
