KVOE’s on-air benefit for Camp Hope wrapped up Tuesday morning after raising $8,000 for the organization during the three-hour fundraising block.
Camp Hope board members Amanda Cunningham and Britton Hart joined KVOE in-studio and said they were incredibly grateful to the community for their donations.
The funds raised during KVOE’s fundraiser, Cunningham said, will go a long way when it comes to providing special programming for campers and ensuring they have qualified professionals working with them each summer.
As a participant in this year’s Emporia Area Match Day, community members have until Nov. 16 to get their donations into Camp Hope. KVOE’s on-air fundraiser, he said, was an incredible way to get a head start on their donation goals.
