Lyon County Commissioners have their regular action meeting Thursday.
On the agenda will be consideration of the certification of local funding sources to support operational and administrative assistance and potentially authorizing Lyon County Area Transportation Director Shane Brunner to sign for a grant submission. Brunner will also seek approval of local matching funds for the replacement of an LCAT vehicle.
In other business, Lyon County Controller Dan Williams will seek approval of the 2027 contract with Howden for consulting services. The contract, if approved, will be paid in quarterly installments totaling $40,000.
The contract is unchanged from prior years.
Commission and staff reports and one executive session for employee evaluation will also take place. The meeting begins at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
