A trio of Emporia entities is receiving funding from the Kansas Leadership Center.
Friday morning, the KCL announced that Crosswinds Counseling and Wellness, Emporia State University’s Honor College and Newman Regional Health are among nearly 70 Kansas organizations named recipients of a 2027 Common Good Partnerships grant award. Formerly known as the Leadership Transformation Grants, KLC has awarded over 850 grants and partnered with more than 440 Kansas organizations and communities over the past 12 years, leading to training for over 16,500 individuals.
Those organizations selected for a CGP grant receive one year of funded access to the KLC’s “dynamic program experiences, resources and consultation.” Through the program, each selected organization will now create a team of three to five individuals who will be charged with leading the implementation of its Common Good Partnership.
