A Missouri woman was hospitalized following an accident in Chase County this past weekend.
The accident occurred at Kansas Turnpike mile marker 100 southbound at 10 am. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2003 Jeep Liberty, driven by 57 year-old Barbara Morgan of Kansas City, Missouri was traveling southbound in the left lane when it fishtailed.
The vehicle then collided with a barrier wall and came to a rest. Morgan was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with suspected minor injuries.
She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
