Another water district has been removed from the Boil Water Advisory in place since last week.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has lifted two additional boil water advisories following last week's major water main break in Emporia.

Two rural water districts are being removed from the Boil Water Advisory: Lyon County Water Districts 1 and 5.

Earlier this week, KVOE News told you about a patching project affecting Interstate 35 essentially from BETO Junction to the east over the next several months. Additional work is taking place on that highway and others in Lyon and Osage counties this month.
